Finally after the passing of Hurricane Isaias, several inches of rain has certainly cooled things down in the area. Reports are coming in of nice fish being caught again, with water temps back down near 80deg. Eric Gusztaw even reported some nice Brown Trout being caught in local streams. Hopefully the high heat in the 90’s will be done for this year. Let’s see if this water will cool a little more with nighttime temps in the 50’s & 60’s. As it does, fish will start to move back up in the shallower water and back toward the inflows & creeks chasing bait. What I feel is the best fishing of the year is only a few weeks away. Lets gear up and be ready…
