Looks as if a break in the heat is finally here! Daytime temps in the 70’s & low 80’s and nighttime temps dipping into the 50’s! This will drop water temp pretty quickly. I don’t think this will be enough to drive fish into a fall pattern, but will certainly increase the activity. locally, I have been getting lots of reports of guys out on the trout bite, as cooler water has sparked them into action. River fishing has picked up as well, lots of smallmouth, even a few stripers in the mix. Up north, Salmon action seems to be picking up on Lake Ontario, several folks sending me pics of some great Kings! We are just starting to get into the best time of year to fish in my opinion, time to get ready!
